Next next week, April 23 through April 24, the Seoul International Hikers Club will go on weekend trip for a hike on Dharmasan and Green mountain Island -- where we will ride a traditional boat along the river, walk along the tea field, visit a beautiful temple, and enjoy the fragrance of spring bloom in the island.
We will meet at Jamsil Stadium Station(Jong-hap-un-dong-jang station-종합운동장역) line 2 at 7:50 and leave Seoul at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and be back by 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. We will travel by a chartered bus, moving to Naju to watch riverside view by sailing, dropping the tea field, visiting a beautiful temple and will stay a motel near the temple. Next day we'll take a cruise and move to the Cheongsando island where many movies were shot on location and enjoy walking along the Olle trail between the flower garden and balrey field on Sunday.
The deadline to sign up for this event is noon Monday, April 18, and the fee to participate is KRW160,000, covering transportation including bus, boat and cruise fare, accommodation, insurance and four meals. We have space for only fifteen people, and kindly ask for your cooperation to sign up as soon as you know your definite schedule.
Further information with a full itinerary and our bank-account number will be provided to the members who sign up for the trip.
* Please note that there is a cancellation fee of 70 percent if you notify us only a day prior to the event (on Friday), and ninety percent if you cancel on the day of the event (on Saturday).

Where we will meet: Jamsil Stadium Station line 2, Exit 1
What we will do: hiking along the Olle trail in the island, traveling some tourist attraction site such as green tea field and beautiful temple, sailing along the river and taking cruise ride in the South sea
Difficulty : just strolling along the trail in the island, visiting some tourist attraction sites

* Weather not permitting, we will go for a walk on Saturday and hike on Sunday morning.
* Please wear proper hiking footwear and bring a raincoat or an umbrella in case it rains. We recommend that you charge your cellphone batteries and your T-Money (public transportation) cards Friday evening.
