Hope you are all well enjoying the fragrant autumn of Korea.
This Saturday Novermber 20th, we are going to hike on Bukhansan. Autumn is just about to leave here, hiding its farewell words in the valley and still embracing the fragrance of autumn foliage. We'll take along the Bukhansan dullegil(path roundabout bukhansan), go up to Hyangrobong(the peak of incense burner) along the Tangchudae ridge, and go down to the Seunggasa temple. This trail is relatively mild but it has some steep slope around the peak. In spite of its steepness, those who hiked Gwanaksan or Dobongsan can go up without any difficulty.
How to get there: Line 3, Bulgwang Station.
Where we meet: Just inside Bulgwang Station near Exit 2
When: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010
What we will do: Hike on Bukhansan and have a meal afterwards.
Duration: This hike will take about three and half hours.
Cost: Each person will pay for their own meal. (W10,000 - W20,000)
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to this mail by 5 P.M. this Friday
so we can have an idea of how many people will participate.
Contact Jeong-ho Park at 016-246-9261 in case you are considerably delayed on Saturday.
Please wear proper hiking footwear.
Cancellation policy: We do not cancel our hikes due to inclement
weather. Coordinators of the hikes will go to the meeting place and
try to arrange an alternative activity (likely a safer walk) if hiking
is not possible. You are, of course, not obligated to follow the
changed schedule.
Thank you for your interest.
