This Saturday, August 28th, we are going hiking on Achasan, a small mountain in the East Seoul.
We will walk about 5 kilometres, including Guri Ridge.
How to get there: Line 5, Gwangnaru Station (St. # 546)
Where we meet: Inside Gwangnaru Station, near the ticket booth
When: At 10:30a.m., Saturday, August 28th, 2008
What we will do: Hike on Achasan and have a meal afterwards.
Cost: Each person will pay for their own meal (10,000-20,000).
If you plan to attend the hike, please email firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday midnight, so we can have an idea of how many people would come.
Could you call Hank Chay at 010-8423-0123 in case you are significantly late?
Please wear proper hiking footwear (good hiking boots, socks, gloves, etc.) and carry an umbrella or a raincoat. It is the rain spell and there is always some chance of sudden shower, especially this year.
We do not cancel hikes due to inclement weather. Coordinators for the hiking will go to the meeting place and try to arrange an alternative activity (likely cultural activities in nature) if hiking is not possible. You are, of course, not obligated to attend but if you do sign up, please try to attend and be on time.
Thank you for your interest,
